St. Anne, Assumption, and St. Philomena
Advent Mission

December 9 - 13, 2006

The mission will kick off with Fr. Scott preaching the homily at each of our 6 Masses (at all 3 of our parishes). 
 
Evening sessions will be held:
7:00 pm - Sunday and Monday at St. Anne Church in Napoleonville
7:00 pm - Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Philomena in Labadieville

Fr. Scott will offer morning sessions:
10:00 am - Monday at St. Anne Church in Napoleonville
10:00 am - Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Philomena Church in Labadieville

He will also be available for counseling, the sacrament of reconciliation, or just to visit. 

Fr. Scott preaches both in religious and public settings on faith, values, stress, education, and family issues.  He has spoken in over 26 public school districts in Pennsylvania.  Fr. Scott has privately published several books and has both CD and videotapes of his sermons.  He has a radio program, JOYFUL REFLECTIONS that airs 6 days a week in the Western Pennsylvania area.

The overall theme of the mission:  "Life is Difficult but God is Good"
Topics for each of the 4 evenings sessions will be - Sunday:  "A Catholic Response to Stress," Monday:  "Celebrating Marriage and Family Life," Tuesday:  "The Art of Forgiveness," and Wednesday:  "Finding True Happiness."  Mark your calendars now and make plans to attend our parish mission.
